Environmental Protection
In The Interest Of
Caldwell County

A nonprofit organization rooted in local action, dedicated to preserving the natural landscape and environmental health of Caldwell County, Texas.

Our Story

Born From a Concern for Our Community

EPICC — Environmental Protection in the Interest of Caldwell County — was founded by a group of passionate Caldwell County residents who recognized that local environments needed a dedicated, organized voice.

From illegal dumping to unchecked land development, the threats facing our county's natural beauty were real and urgent. EPICC was established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit to confront these challenges head-on, using community organizing, legal advocacy, and boots-on-the-ground action.

Based in Lockhart, TX, we've spent over a decade building relationships with residents, local officials, and state agencies to ensure that environmental protection remains a top priority for Caldwell County's future.
